The Waiting Room — Restaurant in Eaglescliffe

Award-winning vegetarian restaurant, including Best restaurant in the UK from the Vegetarian Society. Established 1985. Warm, homely family restaurant atmosphere. All home cooked elegant-rustic vegan and vegetarian dishes, including excellent homemade bread. Our menu changes with seasons, with all natural fresh vegetables, wholefoods and organic dairy. We have put on regular live music and arts events on Sunday nights, for over 20 years. The Waiting Room includes a busy organic wine/cocktail/community pub in the old chemist shop next door, and outdoor seating with a sun-trap streetside garden. And now vvroom, a new vegetarian & vegan fast food takeaway with woodfired pizzas next door to the restaurant (at www.vvroom.love)
